Takuya Aizu (會津 卓也 Aizu Takuya) is the CEO/president of Inti Creates, and thus the series producer of all Inti Creates games, including the Azure Striker Gunvolt series. He also hosts the "Loose Talking, the Targets are AiTsu!'" (ゆるゆるトーク ターゲットは あい津だ!) livestreams with vice president Yoshihisa Tsuda. Prior to forming Inti Creates alongside other founding members in 1996, Aizu worked at Capcom for three years.
Aizu is in charge of the company's management. The actual leader in game development is Tsuda, who leaves everything to Aizu other than making games.[1]
When talks of the employees who were familiar with each other leaving Capcom to form their own company began, Aizu was the one who set up an account to fund the creation of one and asked for deposits from those interested. During the first inaugural meeting the subject of who'd be CEO came up, someone suggested Aizu, and he didn't like it, but the suggester assured him "for the time being." Aizu has been the CEO "for the time being" ever since. There is no one else to do it, and in fact, nobody likes the idea of the job. Looking at it from the side, to Tsuda it seems to be a difficult job and makes him think it's better making games after all.[2] If someone comes along who wants to be CEO, Aizu will say "please."[3] Since Aizu is 51 years old as of March 2024, be believes the time is coming for him to consider his eventual replacement as CEO and how the company may change.[4]
Aizu is known for pushing for titles to be of standalone nature and easy for newcomers to get into. During development of Mega Man ZX Advent, he ordered that it couldn't be a numbered sequel and had to have new protagonists for accessibility.[5]
