Sakura Efflorescence (櫻華爛漫 Ouka Ranman) is a song by Lumen. It was released in the Justice Rage drama CD. It was added to the Azure Striker Gunvolt roster of songs with ver 1.2.
It is one of the four songs included in the DLC Song Pack 5 Lumen for GUNVOLT RECORDS Cychronicle.
A remix was made for the Morpho Song Re-Collection -2018 Remix- album included as a bonus with the Armed Blue: Gunvolt Complete Works.

Plot Role
Sakura Efflorescence was composed by either Joule or her Sumeragi Group handlers and released over a year prior to the events of Gunvolt 1. In Justice Rage, hearing a live broadcast of the song following his defeat at Nova's hands was what ignited Viper's interest in Lumen and prompted him to join Sumeragi.
Trivia
- The song sounds similar to the Sakurazaki Motors car commercial jingle, which was hummed by Joule in a home conversation and included in the Armed Blue Official Soundtrack with notes hinting there was a secret to the track. Furthermore, the song's name contains the "sakura" in "Sakurazaki". The in-universe reason for this connection is unspecified, though it may be a licensing deal or cross-promotion between Sumeragi and Sakurazaki Motors.
