NOTE: The title of this page is conjecture. No official name has been released yet.
The "Data Doppelgangers" are modified data copies of Gunvolt and Beck that appear in Mighty Gunvolt Burst. They were created by Teseo via his Septima Hack the Planet to trick the two into opposing each other.
They initially appear at the end of the stage City to the opposite protagonist, declaring themselves to be the master of the VR world and issuing a challenge before fleeing. After Gunvolt and Beck's fight in Gateway concludes, Teseo reveals himself and the copies.
In Cyberspace Colosseum, when Teseo is confronted he will make a copy of the player character on the fly to serve as the game's penultimate boss. This occurs with all nine player characters, not just Gunvolt and Beck.
Appearances
Copy Beck
He has a darker color scheme than Beck. His visor is down over his eyes, and his visor's eyeholes and his arm and leg rims glow red. His Xels are also red.

Quotes
Beck
- (Joule: Be careful, GV! I got a bad feeling about this one.) Nice to meet you. My name is Beck. I'm a member of a super robot team known as the Mighty Numbers. I'm here to tell you that you're gonna have to participate in the... SUPER MIGHTY BATTLE SHOWDOWN! You're up against my robo-siblings! Should you defeat them, you'll take on the reigning champ...me! See ya!
- (Beck: Is that... a copy of me!?) No, not quite. After I'm done with you, I'm gonna be the one true Beck!
Gunvolt
- (Beck: Hmm, maybe he's one of those GMs that help you out if you're stuck.) My name is Gunvolt, The Azure Striker. Also known as GV, but I guess in this case you can also call me GM. This world is under the control of my Azure Striker septimal power. Come now, the real game is just getting started.
- (Gunvolt: ?! What is this now?!) Oversurge! Azure Striker! Obliterate my enemies!
Trivia
- Copy Gunvolt's design bears a resemblance to the masked, Sumeragi Group-affiliated villainous Gunvolt of Azure Striker Gunvolt 2's early development.
- In the game files, the Data Doppelgangers have the same full range of sprites as their respective player characters, but many of the sprites go unused due to the Data Doppelgangers' limited actions in their boss fights.[1]
