"The Azure Striker awakens with a new compass. A mournful anger conducts him onward, as the Muse's anthem continues inside his heart..."

The girl’s song (wish) becomes wings (strength) and he rises…
Burdening anger and sadness…
The Azure Thunderclap (Armed Blue) surges out, and the singing voice of the Singing Fairy (Diva) echoes in the depths of his chest…
Azure is the secret final mission of Azure Striker Gunvolt. Having survived certain death thanks to Joule, who has lost her body and haunts him, empowering him with permanent Anthem, Gunvolt now has one goal: Vengeance against Asimov.
Mission requirements[]
To begin this mission, all seven jewels in the game's main stages have to be retrieved and given to Joule in home conversations. Once the jewels have been given, in the next conversation she will construct the Handmade Pendant and give it to Gunvolt. As the mission Hostage (Urban Run) is immediately triggered upon the completion of the final normal stage, this cannot be done until witnessing the bad ending, which unlocks home conversations with Joule once more.
The pendant must be equipped before starting the mission Idolatry (Firmament), and kept on from start to finish. If at any point the pendant is not equipped, including starting the mission without it and then immediately opening the menu to equip it before proceeding, mission Azure will not be triggered. Idolatry must be cleared without relying on Prevasion.
The Broken Pendant will also unlock the final mission. This means that on additional playthroughs made on new save files, it is not necessary to have the Handmade Pendant constructed.

Stage composition[]
This level is essentially Idolatry in reverse, going from the path to Nova's chamber all the way back to the orbital elevator. You must still deal with a few Sumeragi Assassins, and Carrera shows up as a late arrival. However, you have a permanent Anthem buff for the entire stage, so everything up to the end is trivial at best to deal with. Just watch out for Carrera's Quasar Collapse. At the end of it all is Asimov, your final adversary.

Trivia[]
- The time counter for Asimov's floor lightning sweep to continuously fire starts when the game successfully loads the elevator area, not when the battle starts; if you stay at pre-fight dialogue for too long, the continuous lightning sweep state is guaranteed to trigger.
